Vincent “Bro” DiAndriole, 87, of Jenkins Township, died Monday at home. He was the husband of the former Joan Humko. The couple celebrated their 53 rd wedding anniversary in September.
Born December 6, 1935, in Old Forge, he was the son of the late Vito and Frances Talarico DiAndriole. Vince was a 1954 graduate of Old Forge High School and a United States Army veteran. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Smith Blacktopping, Addy Asphalt, and a truck driver with the Teamsters Union. He was a member of the St. Maria Goretti Parish, Laflin.
Vince was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a former member of the Pocono Mtn Street Rods and NSRA along with longtime friend Tom Lello. He enjoyed restoring cars, camping in Florida, and going on cruises with his wife.
In addition to his wife, Joan, Vince is also survived by nieces and nephews; Faith Hales, Francine Ogonosky, Maria Torre, a very dear cousin Bernice DiAndriole, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Guy T. DiAndriole and sister-in-law Joan M. DiAndriole.
Vincent’s funeral will be held on Friday at 11:15 a.m. from the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, followed by a 12:00 p.m. Mass Of Christian Burial at the St. Maria Goretti Parish, 42 Redwood Drive, Laflin, PA. Interment Old Forge Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to Vincent at the funeral home on Thursday evening 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
