Thomas P. Holt, 67 years old, ended a long, courageous battle with cancer during the early hours of Wednesday at the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas. Born on December 26, 1958, in Columbia, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Robert R. and Ethel M. Anderson Holt. Upon completing his high school requirements in Columbia, South Carolina, he went on to serve in the United States Air Force, from which he was honorably discharged. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a tractor-trailer driver and was very proud to have achieved every CDL endorsement. Tom's favorite role was that of Pop Pop. He was very generous with his time and was always scheming ways to put a smile on someone's face. In his free time, he was living life to the fullest, seeing live musicians and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles. Tom is survived by a daughter, Jessica Lewis (Corey), West Wyoming; two sisters, Billi Lynn Holt, Rochester, NY, Carla "Becky" Ritter, Alexandria, KY; one granddaughter, Maisie Lewis; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie; and a brother, Timothy. At the request of the family, funeral arrangements will be private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, Pa.
