Robert J. Febbo

Robert J. Febbo, 78, of Avoca, died Sunday at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. He was married to the former, Patricia Dwyer. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July, 2025.

Born on April 7, 1947, in Old Forge, he was the son of the late Louis and Frances Cavalier Febbo. Robert was a graduate of Old Forge High School and a United States Navy Veteran. Prior to his retirement, he was the owner of Febbo Auto Sales. Robert was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge, and the Sons of Italy. He enjoyed playing bocce ball as well as working on his old cars and projects at the garage.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, he is survived by two sons, Christopher and wife Melanie, Matthew, five grandchildren; Bailey, Paige, Ruby, Fiona, Christopher Jr ”Butchie”, two brothers, David and wife Mary Lou, Louis and wife Rosemary, a sister, Julie Mele.

Robert was preceded in death by a son, Robert Jr., a daughter, Julie, two granddaughters, Emily and Julianne.

To honor, Robert, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Parish, 123 West Grace Street, Old Forge, to be celebrated by the Rev. Walter E. Jenkins CSC, Pastor. Interment Old Forge Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to Robert at the Prince of Peace Parish on Monday 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
