Leona B. Baranski

Leona B. Baranski, 84, of Moosic, died Monday at the Golden Living Center, Scranton. She was the widow of the late Edward Baranski, who died in 1973.

Born in Moosic, daughter of the late Walter and Martha Bachmore Slominski, she was a graduate of Minooka High School and valedictorian of her class. She was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Church, Scranton, and was active in many church functions.

She was an avid bingo player.

Surviving are two sons, two daughters, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge.
