Jean V. Alberico

Jean V. Alberico, 97, of Old Forge, died Tuesday at the Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Taylor.
Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary DeStefano Alberico. She was a graduate of the Old Forge School District and a member of the Prince of Peace Parish - St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, Old Forge.
Jean is survived by a nephew, Ted Shishlo, Scranton, a great-nephew, T.J. Shishlo, and a great-niece, Melissa Shishlo, nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by a brother, Nick Alberico, and five sisters, Jennie Alberico, Antoinette Alberico, Josephine Marseco, Louise Shishlo, and Rose Piazza.
A private funeral mass will be held Thursday at the Prince of Peace Parish, 123 West Grace Street, Old Forge, to be celebrated by the Rev. August A. Ricciardi. Interment Old Forge Cemetery.
At the request of the family, there will be no public viewing hours.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge.
