Donald E. Bennett

Donald E. Bennett, 59, of Old Forge, died Thursday at home. His wife of 31 years is the former Mary Anne Matechak.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Donald and Rose Cianfloni Bennett, he was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and Johnson College, Scranton. He was employed as a draftsman for Martin & Rodger's Associates, Wilkes-Barre. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge.

Also surviving are two daughters, Taylor and Jamie, at home; a sister, Rose Carpenter, Scranton; and nieces.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Prince of Peace Parish - St. Mary's Church, West Grace Street, Old Forge. Interment, Old Forge Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call Monday, 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
