David T. Francis, 82, of Jenkins Township, died Friday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, He was married to the former Patricia Lazowski. The couple celebrated their 60 th wedding anniversary.
Born in Dupont, David was the son of the late David and Helen Dawes Francis. He attended the Dupont Public Schools. Prior to retirement, he was employed at the former Main Pants in West Pittston.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Barbara, Pittston, a sister, Alice Piccolini, Old Forge, a grandson, Joseph, a great granddaughter, Jasmine, nieces, and nephews.
David was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Derenick.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge.
