David Kaneski
November 30, 1954 — January 5, 2013
David "Ski" Kaneski, 57, of Old Forge, died Saturday at home.
Born in Old Forge, son of the late Steve and Marie Lukovitch Kaneski, he was a 1974 graduate of Old Forge High School and was employed at Salerno's Cafe, Old Forge.
David's favorite pastime was fishing with his buddies. He was a devoted Green Bay Packers football fan and truly loved the music of the Beatles.
Surviving are a sister, Marilyn Mraz and husband, Joseph, Highland Lakes, N.J.; and three nephews, Steve, Dave and Jeff Kaneski.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Steve.
Funeral services will be Monday at 7 p.m. at the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge.
Friends may call Monday, 5 to 7 p.m.
