Clementine A. Cichy, 93, of Old Forge, died Sunday at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, in 2024.
Born on March 14, 1932, in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine Scariato Cerullo. Clementine attended the Old Forge Schools. Prior to retirement, she was employed at Brooks Manufacturing, Old Forge. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge.
Her favorite pastimes included shopping trips to Boscov’s and playing slot machines.
Clementine is survived by two brothers, Vito and his wife Marion, Eynon, Theodore, Throop, a niece, Shirley Karmilowich, two nephews, Fred Augustine, Chris Augustine, and his wife, Sarah.
Clementine’s family wishes to express their gratitude to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their kind and compassionate care given to Clementine.
To honor Clementine, her funeral service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Prince of Peace Parish, 123 West Grace Street, Old Forge, to be celebrated by the Rev. Walter E. Jenkins CSC, Pastor. Interment Old Forge Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to Clementine on Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m.– 9:30 a.m. at the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge.
