Anna R. Scazzafavo
November 30, 1915 — March 19, 2015
Anna R. Scazzafavo, 98, of Old Forge died Thursday in Scranton.
Born in Old Forge, daughter of the late Salvatore and Josephine Constantine Scazzafavo, she attended Old Forge schools. Before her retirement, she was employed by Brooks Manufacturing, Old Forge, and was a member of the ILGWU and St. Ann's Basilica.
The family would like to thank the Traditional Home Healthcare Hospice and the In-Home Personal Care Service for the compassionate care given to Anna.
Surviving are a sister, Pauline Preite, Long Island, N.Y.; nieces and nephews.
Anna was also preceded in death by four brothers, Dominick, Salvatore, Thomas and Ralph Scazzafavo; three sisters, Angeline DeBellis, Rose Borrelo and Mary Vallone.
The funeral will be Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, followed by a Mass at 10 at St. Ann's Basilica. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Old Forge.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
